Galisonmudpuppy.com is a bright and breezy site dedicated to children's toys and gifts rather than specialising in greeting cards.

Because Mudpuppy focuses on toys and gifts rather than cards, its range of merchandise is not going to be as general, nor as extensive as some other greeting card sites in this category. However, if you're looking for a gift for a younger person, Mudpuppy may be just the ticket. It should be noted that the card range is small and pales in comparison to their other sites. For $10.00 you can purchase a kit for kids to create and decorate 10 notecards printed with non-toxic inks, including envelopes (note that these are not like regular folded cards) and are suitable for ages 4+. There are 6 themes to choose from ('garden thank you', 'forest thank you', dinosaurs', 'mermaids', 'robots', 'sweet treats'). These sets are priced fairly reasonably and are great if you want that home-crafted feel. As mentioned, Mudpuppy offers a much larger range of children's toys and gifts in comparison to its cards. It's possible to shop by theme (e.g. the seven seas, pirates, monsters and robots) or artist (Eric Carle appeared to be the only artist listed at the time of this review). If you're planning a themed children's party then this allows you to tie in with a particular theme. Once you've found your theme you can choose from all kinds of gifts, toys and games to make the day extra special. Alternatively, you can browse specific types of gift and toy categories. You'll find educational games, children's books, puzzles and stationery sets, to name but a few. All products are colourful, fun, well constructed and comply fully with government safety legislation.  Kids' toys and gifts look great and are reasonably priced; e.g. 11"x4" 12 piece puzzles will set you back $10.00, sticker sets cost $8.00 and children's books start at around $6.00. You'll also find a handy gift guide to help you select based upon the recipient's age (3-4, 5-6, 6+) or recipient's interests (e.g. mechanics/inventors, horses, fun on the go). Remember that you'll also need to take shipping costs into account.
