Leanintree.com offers a tremendous range of greeting cards, many with traditional designs that you'd see in the local store and there's no minimum order.
If you're looking for more traditional card designs, Leanintree.com is a great site to browse. You'll find hundreds of cards comprising a range of categories (e.g. anniversary, new baby, birthday). As with many sites, the choice can be a little hit-and-miss depending on what you're looking for. Birthdays are fairly well catered for, whereas anniversary cards are a little more sparse. It's best to have a browse. In addition to buying single cards (there's no minimum order quantity unlike on some other sites) you can also find boxes of assorted cards too (including everyday card value packs, blank assortments, and Christmas card value packs). You can also create your own custom photo cards, though for some reason designs are limited to Christmas (with one or two Hanukah designs). You'll find around a hundred templates to which you can add your photos. Finally, there is also a selection of ecards for most occasions, though the mainstay of the site are the printed products.
You can also choose from a range of free animated ecards or sign up to become a premium member and get access to their premium ecard selection for $9.95 per year (with a risk-free 7 day trial to begin with). However, because you can get free ecards both here and on other sites, it's probaly not worth wasting ten bucks, unless you send a lot of ecards. Even then, the premium cards still don't quite make it worthwhile, and it doesn't cover other cards. Instead our advice is to make do with the smaller selection of free ecards (for which you don't need membership) and content yourself with this. When browsing, free cards will be indicated on the thumbnail image.
In terms of other cards, you'll find designs by Alixandra Mullins, Carolyne Hawley and Jack Sorensen, amongst many others. In fact, you can search for a card by artist if there's a particular one you like. Prices start at around $1.85, which is fairly reasonable. Whilst other sites may advertise cheaper cards, you'll usually have to buy in bulk. The site advertises that many have colourful interiors and coloured envelopes; however, make sure you check the card design before you confirm. You can also create your own custom designs by uploading your own photos. It costs a little more (up to $2.99 per card), though if you buy in bulk you could pay as little as $2.09 (when ordering 500+ cards). Although most of us are unlikely to want to do this, it's still a reasonable price to pay for a unique custom card with your own photo, not forgetting the convenience of creating it online, although it's slightly annoying that you can't save your designs to finish later.
