Redstamp.com features sophisticated, contemporary designs for cards and stationery products that will give your event or occasion an extra-special flourish.
If you arrive at the site seeking greeting cards then you'll leave disappointed. This is because the site specialises more in stationery products and invitations for all manner of occasions and events. If you're arranging a party or social event, or need to make an announcement of some kind, you should find plenty of choice here. Redstamp.com features (but is not confined to) invitations for birthday gatherings, baby showers/birth announcements, weddings, graduations and moving house/change of address. A neat tab feature allows you to find the type of invitation card you are looking for by specifying the occasion (e.g. bar/bat-mitzvah, cocktail party, halloween party), recipient (e.g. him, her, little boy, big girl) and invitation type (e.g. personalized, imprintable, fill-in or eco-friendly). This makes the process of selection somewhat easier than searching through all the invitations listed under that category.
Because the site specialises in invitations, and because invitations are usually purchased in multiples, you'll find that 10-15 is the minimum order for stationery, invitation and announcement cards. Obviously, the more you order the cheaper it works out per card. Prices are more expensive here than on some other sites. A set of 15 invitation cards will start at around $40-$50. Increase your order and the unit price decreases. So, expect to pay around $140-$150 for 100 copies, and around $240-$250 for 200. Price will of course depend on the card you choose. Suffice to say that unless you're buying a large number of cards, you won't find prices here particularly cheap. A clear price guide would also be nice, but, as with so many other sites, what the total cost of your order will be is sometimes difficult to fathom until you've gone through the selection process. Likewise, stationery items (e.g. personalized business cards) start at just under a dollar a copy if you order in bulk, but around $1.80 if you purchase 25. Again, prices will differ widely depending on the card and the design you choose, as well as the quantity. That said, you'll find a tremendous range of contemporary, eye-catching designs.
Meanwhile, a Redstamp.com app is also available for the iPhone (requires iOS 4.0 or later) enabling you to send personalized notes from your iPhone. WIth the inbuilt cardfinder, you can select a design, write your text (or get text suggestions from etiquette experts) and send cards (and photos) to friends, family and colleagues in just a few easy steps.Whilst the range of designs is somewhat limited, the app is free and it's easy to personalize and manage your notes.
Should you require any assistance, refer to the help tab at the top of the homepage, where you will be taken to a list of FAQs. If you need to contact them, Redstamp.com state that they would prefer email enquiries, though you can also write (their postal address is listed) or phone (their phone number is not listed on the site).
Redstamp.com isn't the best site for greeting cards, but if you're planning an event or need to make an announcement and want to get noticed, or make a statement with your personal stationery products, check out their site.
